A delightful linear walk along the River Medway from Forest Row to Hartfield. The route follows quiet riverside paths through mixed woodland, crossing the river several times via footbridges. Springtime brings carpets of bluebells and wild garlic.
Hartfield village is charming — refuel at Pooh Corner (the Winnie-the-Pooh shop & tearoom) before catching the bus back to Forest Row.
